What is a Auction Code?

The Auction Code is our new easy to use system for sellers on online auctions.

The Auction Code System will generate a code that you can simply paste into your online auction allowing your potential bidders a simple way of getting a quick (normally instant) quote to courier the item/s you are selling in the auction, to their door. No more finding shipping prices before listing and bidders no longer need to ask for shipping costs.

You will need to obtain a separate quote, and therefore a separate Auction Code, for each item you are auctioning.

Currently our Auction Code System is only available on our small/light items service; however we hope to provide the Auction Code System for Large/Heavy items and Vehicles soon.

How to obtain a Auction Code

You need to go to this address: http://www.shipmytrade.co.nz/smallquote.php?qtype=quickcode

Enter in the following information and obtain a separate Auction Code for EACH auction:

• From city and suburb (No delivery city and suburb is required)
• Details of the item/s (Weight & Size) you are selling in the auction
• Your Name
• Your E-mail address (Your Auction Code Link will be emailed to this address, ready for you to paste into your auction)

Then click on 'Get your Auction Code' to get your code to place in your auction. Simply paste this link into your auction for buyers to see and use 24/7, no delays.

When an interested buyer clicks on the link they enter in their city and suburb for delivery, click on 'Get an instant quote now' and will receive their quote instantly. (In most cases)

Either the seller or buyer may use the quote given to make a booking for shipment.

SENDERS

The sender or person that completes the collection details and item description is responsible for ensuring that the details are correct. Any further charges incurred by incorrect details in these sections will be charged to the person who obtained the Auction Code - normally this is the sender.

RECEIVERS

Anyone using a Auction Code to obtain a quote is responsible for ensuring that the delivery area details are correct. Any further charges incurred by incorrect details in these sections will be charged to the person who obtained the quote from the Auction Code link - normally this is the receiver.
